I have a C200K (W203) and can't work out how to fold the rear seats... Is there a way or did it have to be an option when bought?

There should be a grip/release on the upper, outer side of the seat back.

It was (and still is, even on the latest C Class) optional. Costs about =A3200. I don't believe that many people went for it - it's especially unlikely on cars that were first purchased as company cars where it's often awkward for users to specify options.
Thansk Guys...incidentally, can they be retrofitted?
