Just had Tempmatic A/C system recharged on 1992 190E 2.6 with 135000 miles. It took 1.5 pounds of R12 (blowing ice cold) A/C Tech wanted to check high pressure end, but was not familiar with Mercedes and could not find it , neither could I. What is the location of this valve and and what damage could be done by not having checked this pressure?
