Anyone from the UK here with any knowledge of what is termed a parallel import? (not to be confused with a 'grey' import).
I've been looking at a 2004 CLK 240 with only 1600 miles, which is so described.
I believe that it's an EU regulations thing, and also something to do with the car having been originally allocated to one destination (country) by MB, and then being re-assigned to another. It seems to be used when a customer wants an unusual hi-spec version that would otherwise take months to arrive.
For some reason MB reduce the warranty on these cars from 3 years to two. Anyone know why?
