Has anyone ever repaired the 1k resistor within the bakelite body of the boot? There's got to be a way other than replace the complete spark plug harness...... The boot comes apart quite easily down to the bakelite core. Now I've got to get the brass fitting that, presumably, contains the 1k resitor. Any help welcome.
