Hi, I have a Mitsubishi Gallant 1997, 88k miles, 2.4L, auto trans OD. While upshifting, sometimes I feel jerking or rpm burst up before shift. Changed trans fluid 2 months back, no improve. I am considering adding lucas trans fix. Will it help or worse ? Any sugestions will be appreciated. By the way, the engine makes some noise when accelarating. Using 91 octane, feels like less noise. Anything to do with slipping or shifting ?
