A celebration is due!

Some good news from Mitsushitty today and proof that a market economy works. Australian consumers have voted with their wallets and said NO to the s*it coming out of Tonsley Park.

It is hoped that they close up all of their activities in Australia and high tail it back to Tokyo with their dags dangling between their knees.

MITSUBISHI is to announce today that it plans to close its Adelaide factory with the loss of about 900 jobs.

It's understood that the board of Mitsubishi is meeting now to discuss the future of the carmaker in Australia, but the decision has been made to close the Tonsley Park car factory.

The factory's demise is the culmination of a classic true-life version of Murphy's Law or, put another way, everything just seemed to go wrong.
