First off I?m ashamed for knowing minimal about cars. Ive recently heard a rattling noises form the engine. I just got my timing belt and belt swapped out this summer and I think it may be some metal parts spinning against each other. It sounds like spinning birds in intervals and keeps getting worse and lasts longer. I know thats broad but I?d appreciare some help. Thanks alot.
is it a V6 or a 4cyl? take it back to who changed the belt
What year model is your MS?
If it is a V6, don't drive it until you check the crank bolt!!!! If the folks that did the timing belt didn't tighten up the crank bolt correctly, it could start to back out. If it does, it could eat up the crank or possibly break off. Both of these are high dollar items to repair.
