multi communication system galant gdi

i recently bought a 1997 galant with the above system . the dislay is in japanese and it connot recieve television signals or plan cd. could anyone shed light to me about what units of the above should be expected in thee car and how to convert the language to english or juust where to get a translation manual ,i will really appreciat this mbula
