What is the WORST handling car you've ever driven?

Rover 416i. It was a courtesy car one time while our Mini was being fixed. God it was a bag of s**te, but I guess I *had* just got out of a Mini.

Decided to to a burnout for a laugh and it was stationary with the handbrake on, front wheels spinning (was four up at the time). The cabin was full of nasty tyre smoke, despite the windows and vents being closed.

Test drove a 2nd hand MK4 Escort 1.6 Laser many years ago which was like that. It was more like a switch; just on or off.

Doh, he could have had a stab at making something up. 'Silver Merc' would have been an easy choice...

Yeah, I had a mk2 1.3 Popular Plus, and it was great fun.

What colour was it Mine was nordic blue 4 door LDV910W met its end in a hedge a week after i passed my test :(

White 3 door HEF946V. Had it for about 6 months before losing it on a hump back bridge (and nearly rolling it down the embankment...)

I bet you had a massive smile on your face before you lost it though. This car should be in the fun to drive section, (relativley) lightweight rear wheel drive fun,

1.3GL estate, in beige. MVY991T .

Great fun, particularly when I had nine in and a bale of hay after a party.

David

Smart car.

Test drove one out of sheer curiosity.

Mason

A bale of hay???

It was after the North-West 200 in N. Ireland.

One of the girls in the car decided she wanted a bale of hay. So we went and got one from the barriers.

There was still bits of it in the car two years later when I sold it.
