Diablo Sport Predator vs Diablo sport chip

Both are useful but you (or your tuner) is going to have more flexibility with a chip. The Predator does many of the same things but it can't actually adjust the spark and fuel tables. It adds or subtracts from the curves without actually chaning the shape of the curve. The chip will allow you to adjust the shape of the curve to match your requirements.

The upside to the Predator is that it is easy to download and apply new tunes. It also has real-time monitoring and some data logging capability. You can get that with a chip like the Tweecer or EEC-Tuner but you can't get that with the DiabloSport chip.

A tuner will get you more performance with a chip tune, in the long run, but it may take several interations to get it just right.
