Lotta good points made, but I love her so much I only want the best for her. I'm not making tooooo bad of money right now... working 2 jobs.. I make $750/2 weeks at Inc. Music Group, Inc... and roughly $500/week working for another boss who deals w/ setting up affiliate programs & what not.. I'm not worried about the price tag.. but I want the best for her. I've hinted around a little bit about a big ring & she says I really don't need to spend much money on it... but still..

In that case, you'd best stick to the 3-mos. salary rule, and let HER pick the ring out. (Let's face it guys: we don't know s*it about jewelry.)

As Sam Kinison once said, jewelry is the best form of foreplay. Gopherit.

My brother told me his fiancee wanted a cubic zirconia because she didn't care about having a real diamond and wanted him to spend the money on wiser things. I told him she's a keeper. She's also one of the truly nicest people I've ever met, so she has that going for her, too. I used to be nice....

I dunno, seems like lots of women want and need you to be mean to them a certain amount of the time. "You don't love me because you never yell at me!" I didn't know what to say on that one.
