I've heard through word o' mouth that it's free this Saturday, from a cop even. IIRC, it may even be co-sponsored by them or something like that.
Road racing is on the menu. I was invited to come have some rice, in almost as many words.

Road racing? You mean drag racing? Will there be legal street races after the main event? I went to that a couple weeks ago; it was more fun than the real drags. But if you're racing I gotta see that! lol

The only thing I can think of is the legal street races after the drags. Last time I went, the cops were racing, too. lol That was actually pretty cool.
Heh, my CAR is in no condition for any type of racing. ;-)
Dagnabit! I can't make it Saturday evening. :-( What about Saturday afternoon, or Sunday? That's when the drags are happening.

Yep, as I thought, it's the "Race the strip, not the Street" thing I went to a couple weeks ago. It's much more fun than the actual drags, 'cause the atmosphere is really friendly and relaxed. It's all fun, whereas the drags are nerve-racking, IMO. :-)
Well, if Subic is going to the evening event I won't be meeting him...yet again. We've been trying to meet without success for a year now. LOL!

Cindy, effective August 4th, I work 3:30 am to 12:00 noon now, so it should be easier to make happen. You still have Fridays free?

What time will you be there? I know with a baby it's kind of hard to stay in one place for a long time. ;-) I could bring my little monster (just turned three!), too, he loves cars! In fact, I'll probably have to bring him as daddy will be busy.
