Quick question... tranny fluid

Except for a couple of their oils, Amsoil neglects to test and certify. That API seal of approval is extremely important, especially when your warranty requires it.

Verification of its performance through API certification testing, and the lack of MLM nuts flogging it in every automotive newsgroup on the planet.

Come on. You're not actually defending quackery like "Male Power Formula" and "Longevity Enzymes", are you?

Please forgive me. When a guy selling crap like this tells me I can run his super oil for several times my car's normal oil change interval, I have a hard time taking him seriously.

The only joke I see is how worked up you guys get when somebody insults the object of your affection.

MLM is a great marketing technique to get your product known... are you jealous that you didn't think of it first?

I drink Amsoil daily & I now have a larger penis... yay to Male Power Formula. God knows you could use some!

I feel sorry for you, I really do.

They chose not to. It's not important when you know what it is and all amsoil oils far exceed API specs. You haven't done your home work there.

I read thre automotive groups and have never seen any "nuts" "floggig"? I assume you mean trying to sell it. You share that same moronic attitude with Joe, MLM marketing has -=ZERO=- to do with the quality of the product. API certification proves very little if any verification of the performance of a synthetic oil.

It's vitamines and minerals. Try READING the ingredience and READ what it's supposed to do. Some people are into that stuff, I am not. GNC sure sells a lot of it and so do grocery stores under all names from a lot of companies. Either way it has little to do with the oil division, same as many chemical companies like Borden for instance.

Then I suggest you do reserch like I did rather than taking the sole word of a particular Amsoil salesman. I have trouble believing a lot of things told to me by a lot of people, which is why I check the facts for myself, BEFORE I decide to trace a product or a company, at least if yo have some facts to back it up you don't look like a fool.

See above. It has nothing to do with affection, it has to do with making inaccurate comments on a subject you know little about.

The company started that way because in 1972 you could not get anything past the big oil companies. Infact it was originally Amzoil with a big Z and Pennziol sued. It's never changed and cannot because of the way the company bylaws are writtten. ANd it oviously worked because most people have heard of Amsoil one way or another, how many people have heard of Neo, now and 20 years ago.
