What are Ford's plans regarding performance models of the 2005 Mustang. Will the SVT continue with the new body style?

Yep. There several S-197-based, SVT, test mules already on the road (have been for about a year now). One of them is 5.4L, 4V, VVT, supercharged :). It will an IRS, which one I haven't heard yet.
Yes Fred, SVT will continue. Ford's just taking a year off to develop the next Cobra on the new platform, and they're waiting to hit the line up with some Cobra pizzaz after the newness of the new Mustang design starts to wear off a little. Look for the next Cobra to debut in '06.
