Ain't it the truth! I was born in a little mill town called Mooresville, the Port City of Lake Norman. Now it's the home of many, many NASCAR teams and others. My brothers and I grew up in our Dad's Service Station. We washed cars, changed oil, changed tires, did tune-ups, rebuilt engines, and we even helped build and pit crew a '57 Chevy, 6 cyl. for the local dirt tracks and a '63 1/2, 427 Galaxie for the local drag strip. During several years of *qualifying* on the back roads of Iredell County, mostly dirt back then, at least two Mustangs were rolled and totalled. Oh, what'd I pay for a time machine!
