Need help on this one, I had engine rebuilt a few years ago and it has a slight shake it did not have before the build. I changed out the harmonic balancer, a year or two ago and the shake diminished a lot but it is back now even bigger.
It seems to be just the engine, if it warms up for about 20 min the shake diminishes. This is on a 1993 5.0. Also it seems more apperent in 2nd gear.
is it possable the harmonic dampner they put in (stock) was old NOS ?? where the rubber has moved ?
Does the engine need rebuild, or new Harmonic balancer, perhaps a performance Harmonic balancer?
