This time I actually got to replace the rear valve cover gasket and the plenum gasket. Using pliers to twist the hose at the point of contact did a great job of freeing them up. I used needle nose for the smaller hoses and regular pliers for the bigger ones. Much much easier to remove the hoses afterwards. Anyway for what its worth theres a tip. Hope it helps someone.
