I think the nut has come off one of the roof bar mountings on my 99 406 estate. Last time I used my roof box there was a lot of creaking from the area around the rear of the left side bar. Over the last month or so there is a rattle coming from the same area when I drive around sharp bends or brake suddenly. Getting at the underside of the mount means removing the roof lining I think. Since the lining is one piece, can anyone give me any tips. e.g. What do I need to remove prior to getting the lining out, what should I be especially careful of, etc. Any help will be gratefully received.
