08 92 GrandAm engine oil pan replacement 4 cyl

I have just obtained a 08 of 1992 Pontiac Grand Am SE Coupe. The 4 cyl engine's oil pan is broken. I need to replace it with a new one. Can someone tell me the procedure, do you hold the engine up from on top, to access it. It is a tight fit. Should I raise the engine? Some hints would be great. Thanks very much, I am fixing this up for a disabled person to make them mobile.

if this is the quad 4 engine, the pan just drops down. Junk yard item 20 bucks
