The factory security system on my 2001 Grand AM GT works but only sounds the horn intermitantly. The horn works fine from the steering wheel. Sometimes when I arm it, it will sound and sometimes it won't. Same with the panic option and when the alarm goes off. Any ideas?

In addtion: I don't mean it sounds intermitantly like it's supposed to when it's set off. I mean that it works some of the time and some of the time it doesn't.
