I replaced the headlamps on a 96 Sunfire and the low beam do not work. The DRLs stays on, even with the headlamps on and in the low beam position. The high beams work and cut off the DRLs. What could be going on?

by replacing the headlamps you mean just the capsules?
Also why'd you replace them....
One was burned out. The faulted lied within the headlight switch itself. Replaced that and now everything works fine.
