Hi there about 6 months ago my grandprix just dies when it wants to. Theres still power to it and i have takin it to three differents shops because it never dies when its there they cant tell me what is wrong with it. Now it does this when it fells like it anytime. The rpm's just drop and it dies. I have replaced the batter, alternator ,and the fuel pump. When it dies i'll pull it over and it takes anywere from 1 min to a half an hour to start back up. Weather wise doesn't matter hot or cold it dies. Please help. Thank you

On more thing It does this at all speeds, Scared the crap out of my on the highway.
When it does not run, does it spark?
If it cuts out flat, as opposed to sputtering out, it's most likely losing spark to all cylinders at the same time, which is likely caused by a bad CKP sensor or bad ignition module, or bad PCM, or a wiring problem at any of those. GW
My Grand Prix had to have the ECM replaced when it had that kind of problem. The one thing mine did was that the speedometer would go crazy about three seconds before it would die, so I always had a brief warning to head for safety with it.
