Let's look at electrical systems. There is NO reason for there to be the problems experienced in newer cars. They put too many things on too few circuits. And BTW; computer control is NOT the be-all-and-end-all. Electical systems designers have gotten lazy IMO. If you have problems with your wipers you should NOT also have problems with the fuel pump.
Most Euro cars seem to make commomly broken parts out of unobtanium. Japanese cars aren't much better.
