I bought a 1987 911 recently, and today found I could not switch off the front windshield wipers. The wiper switch increases/decreases wiper speed, but full shut-off doesn't occur.
Reading other threads, I have the sense that the wiper switch contacts need cleaning. Is this something I should attempt, or too difficult?
I have moderate mechanical aptitude, but no experience working on Porsches.
