I looked at a 1987 944 Porsche today, starting when cold the car ran horribly hunting from 100rpm up to 1000 rpm for about 5-10 seconds and then settled down to a rough idle about 1000rpm. After driving it and letting it warm up the idle seemed to clear itself. I told the salesman about it and he said no it runs perfect and then shortly after said I could not take the car to a Porsche dealer for a buyers inspection...sound like something to walk away from?
