Out of the blue AC is blowing cold air onto windshield only, hot air onto back seats and none straight from the dashboard or on feet - AC test shows error code 8 - any ideas / similar experiences?

broken vent control lever, on the side of heater box.. if it isnt that, saab are doing a exhange heater box assy.. quite expensive... 4000 worth i think

Do you know where this control lever is located? Is replacing it DIY job in your opinion?
