9-5 crankcase ventilation problem

What are the real signs of this problem?

From what I have found on the web (Göran Larsson's pages are very good concerning this problem), the main signs are increased oil consumption and blue smoke from the exhaust pipe at cold start. My '00 9-5 2,0 litre auto trans now started to consume more oil, no blue smoke but drastically increased engine vibration at idle up to 1500 rpm and above

3000 rpm.

Could this be a crankcase ventilation problem? One of the factory mods was done two years ago, but I'm not sure which one. According to Göran's pages it seems that Saab has not yet solved the problem with the 9-5 engines.
