I just got the car (German basic model, 220kkm great condition). The central locking operates intermittently. I searched past posts, but didn't see any relating to this particular vintage. Can anyone point me to the controller? Any other advice? Robobass PS: I'm just headed out to mount the rear spoiler from the '92 I just junked. Don't worry, I had mounted it on that one too, and there wasn't a speck of rust when I pulled it off!

Well, I'll help myself! I was given two keys by the previous owner and told to use "this one" and the other didn't work very well. It is true! When I use the correct key, the central locking works fine, and I don't need to jiggle the shifter to get started. Should I order a second key from a dealer? Or could the good key be copied by a locksmith?
