Will the factory wheels from an 85 900 Turbo fit a 92 9000S ( 15 inch 4 hole).. I seem to recall reading taht they are only compatible from 89 onwards??

true. 900 up to 87 are different from the 9k. 900 88-93 and 9k have the same bolt pattern.
