I'm pulling the motor this weekend to re-do my worn out clutch.
Any suggestions on how to deal with that pain in the ass fuel filter connector?
Anything I should look for while the motor is out?

Yes, buy a new fuel filter and you will get the tool (plastic disconnector) with the filter. Very easy with the right gadget!

I've had great luck with using needlenose pliers to squeeze the connectors
- I've even been able to do it by hand.
I'll be pulling an engine from a scapped '92 SL2 on Saturday. I've never done it before, anything I should be aware of before/during?
I asked at the local dealership, all they had to say was that it was easier to do from underneath. Unfortunately that's not an option for me...

I'd have a good time too if I had a hoist :)
Some mechanics should go back to working at McDonalds :)
