P1404 Again

Happy Friday everyone

Well in my last post I mentioned that trouble code P1404 was revealed at AutoZone and then quickly went away.

It's back and has been back for 2 or 3 days now, so I assume it's time to do something about the EGR valve. The problem is that it's been mighty cold up here in the Northeast US with wind chills in the -30 degree area. These temperatures make even a modestly insulated garage cold. So my question is:

Does this trouble code merit immediate attention or can it wait for a couple days? The car is running fine although gas mileage has slipped a little, but I assume that's due to the extreme cold and warm up time, etc. Other than that, no problems (knock wood).

Suggestions? Comments?
