Here's more on a subject that's been kicked around some over the past. It addresses concerns about the new oils and the removal of ZDDP to meet new world-wide standards and that removal causing camshaft wear in solid lifter motors. The author seems to be well informed and provides information that will be of benefit to us Stude owners.
Very coincidental, as I ran into this same article on Sunday AM. Since the article was dated 2002 and he sounded fairly informed, I emailed him a brief question asking "what the situation is for today and beyond, especially for the old car hobby".
He never replied...
