Avantiphil was an SDC Member since 1969 and collected vintage toys his whole life.
What is listed in the auction notice, is just a small portion of what is actually there. He had at least one of every Studebaker Toy ever made and a few real ones. Phil considered himself a collector and hoarder of anything with wheels.
His motto: "He who dies with the most toys....WINS." He certainly won.
