2001 OBW Auto Door Lock Module Failing. Any one else have this Problem? The door buttons only lock the car but will not unlock the car. The Dealer said it was the door lock module and it will be 350 to replace. (installed and taxs included)... I just falls out of my warranty , Has anyone else had this problem? I am going to call Mr subaru of canada customer complaints Dept and see if they can do anything for me....

$350 you've got to be kidding. Each door has it's own lock solnoid. there are three wires that run it. Ground, Lock, unlock. The relay for the alarm gives power to either the lock wire or unlock wire.

If the button is bad, replace the button. It reverses the wires. Go somewhere else.
