Baja turbo

I've got a 2003 Baja and it's pretty sweet, but the 2.5 is a little anemic for it's mass.

I had an '03 Baja and it was OK but then I went for the Turbo and now I have a snarling beast. (at least to me it is) It's not the fastest beast on the road but it certainly is more responsive.

Wish you hadn't said that! I've been biting my tongue to keep from saying, "Gimmie". How's the suspension, any better? Of course it wasn't to bad to begin with. I've been toying with the thought of getting a stiffer rear sway bar, say the 22-24 rear sway bars from

more power = more fuel used ;)

Primarily if you 'enjoy it'. I think if you drive it like a little old lady, staying at peak torque you'd get better gas mileage. I'm sure I couldn't do that!!

I hit 4000rpm depending on conditions around 85mph in high gear.

peak torque is around 4000 rpm in most subies? that equates to about 130+ mph in top gear that equates to bad fuel milage my friend best milage is about 70 or 80 mph in high gear
