I've heard from a mechanic that the series 3 Liberty/Legacy ('99-'03) and Foresters have overheating problems. Specifically, the radiator is said to be of a poor design - prone to blocking. This is news to me as I've never before heard of any such problems.
Is this just a case of sour grapes, or is there an issue with the Subaru cooling systems?
Any info would be appreciated.
