Any idea where the ODB connector is in a 2002 wrx? What type is it A or B= ?

James, as Carl says, it is OBD : On-Board Diagnostics.


You can find a basic reader/scanner for $50 on

I got one from AutoTap that has a few more bells and whistles: www.autotap.= com, for about $130.


(The professionals will spend thousands of dollars for a scanner that contrains lots more information.)


Both of the cheaper ones use your laptop as a display.
