Sadly, he has to sell it to pay the taxes. What is our best venue for selling this thing, and what do you think we might be able to get for it?

It might be worth trying ebaymotors.com: featured listing with high enough reserve price.

Congratulations, and good luck.

Yes Ebay is the way to go. Too bad you have to get rid of it, but either way congrats.

As for what you can get for it, I have no idea. That's the beauty of ebay, put the reserve somewhere reasonable that you'll be happy with and let the bidders decide how much it is worth :)

How much are the taxes? Let me know. I may be glad to pay them and pay to have it shipped to NJ. A new car for the price of taxes is a great deal. Get a loan and enjoy the car.

i thought he was talking about some income taxes his son was due to pay (plus irs penalties and interest ?); now - if it's only for sales and estate taxes on the car he won - i will pay it plus will add extra $

100 to sweeten the deal :)

A pimp's convention? More a question of how much you would have to pay someone to take this butchered monstrosity away, | would have thought.

meh

If you got it cheap enough, a 'normal' person could rip out all the 'flash trash' to whatever level they wanted. But, don't underestimate the number of people who want it and will add MORE body kits, graphics, lights, and speakers!

That's actually fairly tasteful, compared to some "pimps" that I've seen West Coast Custom do on MTV.

Anyway, I would think eBay would be a great place to sell this particular car, given it's media exposure and "customness." Make it a featured listing, 10-day.

Or, maybe take out an ad in an appropriate custom car mag. Expensive, but it's a one-of-a-kind car with a lot of media exposure behind it, and you could probably get quite a lot for it.
