Is there anyway to determine if the compression is going bad in a cylinder by examining the spark plugs ? or is a compression test the only way ?
Basically, what are some easy ways to tell if the compression in an engine is going.
Thanks !!!

It's not going to tell you, other than possibly if the spark plug has oil on it, that probably indicates that the compression ain't great.. but if it doesn't, that doesn't mean it's good, because compression and oil control aren't always related.
Compression test is the only reliable way.
