I have a Dodge Grand Caravan AWD 3.3L V6 with 176K miles on it that occaisionally makes a loud high pitched whine during high RPM (5000+) full throttle acceleration. It doesn't always seem to happen all the time, sometimes it is very loud, and sometimes it isn't there at all. It has been happening for probably at least 25k miles. Anyone have any ideas what it is?
