And this morning I read somewhere that Cadillac is going to build a new factory... in China.

Apparently CO2 from China does not cause global warming. Only CO2 from the USA and Europe does. Sure that doesn't make sense, but that's how the treaties and such keep getting written. Rich nation like China cannot even be expected to use 1970s levels of pollution controls that are cheap and effective. Of course there is a reason for things being this way, global warming is just a vehicle for it.

why wouldn't they? they already make most of the parts for g.m.'s suv's already - all they need to do is stick their own labels on the crap they send us and the job's done.

oh, and let's not forget that china doesn't sell gasoline at market rates - all pump prices are state controlled and artificially low.

"global warming" is just the scary b.s. being crammed up our asses to try and force us all into compulsory carbon exchange participation. since the proles are no longer participating in wall st's stock/bond market casinos voluntarily, carbon markets are a fantastic way to /compel/ them to line up and get fleeced,

the chinese, who know all about western finance and how easily/cheaply bought our politicians are, see straight through it. and exporting their pollution to us [mercury levels in western u.s. states rivers and lakes has risen substantially in the last decade] is not exactly something they'd disregard as advantage either.

Carbon taxes and indulgences to make certain wealthy people more so are one thing it is a vehicle for.

It's deeper than that. China is the model for the whole world in many ways.
