I have a mazda 323 87 model. Car starts no probs, go to put it in to drive or reverse it dies. When I start the car and its idling it will idle a little but sounds very sick.
The car if I put it into gear I have to put one foot on accelerator and the other on the brake so that i can keep the revs up enough to take off. The car runs fine when the car is moving. Soon as I come to an intersection and brake and stop the car again will die unless i keep one foot on the brake and the other on the accelerator.
Have tried turning up the revs under the bonnet doesnt help.
Any suggestions appreciated.
