could anyone suggest another alternative to factory catalytic converters to improve flow
I've just rebuilt my car's engine and discovered in the process that both (2) catalysts were plugged, plan on purchasing two aftermarket replacements but am not familiar if there are better parts or performance parts available and if so, where?
will gladly accept suggestions for online shops or specific parts
make, model, year, any mods to engine or stock rebuild?

There's probably not a complete aftermarket high flow exhaust for that vehicle (I was thinking maybe you had a Mustang or something for which direct-fit high flow cats are available) but you might want to check with Walker or other exhaust mfgrs. to see if they make a universal high-flow cat that will fit your exhaust configuration.
