OH, no, there's no control over gas prices. When gas was high, it was $3.24 everywhere in the suburban area all the way down to Kankakee.
Now that the price is in relative freefall, the suburbs are still getting soaked at 2.81 (was 2.86 yesterday) while here in Kankakee it's 2.40.

That's not too bad. The two gas stations at war have settled down and are selling ar $2.18 & $2.19. Most other stations around here are $2.24-$2.35
