Nevermind how one could do it under Linux; what's to stop me from removing the drive, adding the appropriate adapter, plugging it into a spare system, booting Ghost from floppy and backing up the data to a second drive?

On a related matter, I see that the number of suicides off the Golden Gate bridge has some pols worried, so they've commissioned a $2 million study to find the best course to take to prevent these suicides...and it'll take two years to complete. That's just for the STUDY. For a dollar, I could tell them "so build a fence already!!!"

You have *GOT* to be kidding me. I'll concede that you're more familiar with IT security than I, but I don't believe the FBI for a nanosecond. I know next to nothing about IT security, and I'd wager I stand a good chance of pulling it off myself. Sector-by-sector copy, anyone?
