oil sealer additive

I would not add more sealer unless the vehicle is not worth fixing properly.

Those oil sealants are junk. They are just thickeners and you risk totally ruining the engine. They should only be used if the engine or car is beyond repair.

Realistically I doubt they could sell the stuff for years if they ruined engines. But I asked for advice and you gave me yours so I thank you.

Thanks Ray, I'll take your advice. I think the leak stopped but I really don't want to jump to any conclusion for a couple more days. It was a very small leak but a leak nonetheless.

The problem with additives that are designed to stop leaks is that there is the possibility that they may clog internal passageways as well. You didn't mention where the oil was leaking from but some leaks are relatively easy to fix.

Visit your local 'health" store and take not of the bottles of garbage on the shelves that people buy because they they they do something good even though some may even be dangerous. .
