My brand new 2005 manual transmission 3-door RAV4 produces an (electronic sounding) whistle when pressing the accelerator pedal, between 80 and 110 km/h, so nearly continuously. Dealership has replaced a component in the gearbox, but the annoying whistle remains. Anybody got a proper fix from Toyota, or also just the message that they find it acceptable?
