Obama is obviously able to accept input from people who disagree with his ideas. The infant Bush would've ignored advise and forged ahead based on faith, which has absolutely no place in foreign policy decisions.

Mr. Obama knows he will be made to look silly and is back-stepping. It's actually a face-saving gesture.

Did you catch any of the video of Barack with the troops? I don't recall Bush getting such a response. You probably had to shut off your TV.

IF obama wins we'll see how that theory of yours flies and for how long. Should be interesting, IF he wins.

Well, jeez - the first mistake - okay. But then trying to rectify it, he made yet a different one! ;-D

The staff must've hit him hard with the thorazine today. He's completely disconnected from what HE wrote.

Too early to tell yet. The daily tracking polls so far have not shown any significant change. By the end of next week we should have a better snapshot. I am surprised in light of all the hatred propaganda of GWB by the dims the last few years that obama isn't doing better than he is. I wonder where Hillary would be had she won the nomination.

Yes that was quite a large crowd wasn't it.

I remember way back when in Vietnam, Hank Snow came to my small AF base in the delta one day and even though I hated country western music I cheered like hell with the rest of the troops, LOL. Hank filled the hangar and then some. Everybody was there.
