WINTER WIPER BLADE LIFT

I recently bought a set of winter wiper blades from my local Toyota dealership. Although they are excellent at removing snow/slush from the windshield, if I drive the Camry over 80 km/h the blades tend to lift off and make it very difficult to keep the window clean and make highway driving very dangerous.

I am sure this is a common problem with wiper blades that are covered with rubber. I am surprised that the manufactures have not added some air slits across the top of the blade to exert some downward force to prevent lift. I am thinking of going back to my regular blades just for the sake that they do not lift off the window until very high speeds. An alternative would be to go with smaller blades but that would also reduce visibility and peripheral vision to an extent.

What do you use on your cars?

I don't know the type of wiper blades you use (as we don't have real winters here but is it not possible to use Wiper blade spoilers (can be bought here at any company that sell stuff for cars (even the hardware stores)).

These create lift toward the window in effect pressing the wiper blades against the windows.
