15" rims for '88 2wd pick-up

I upgraded my original 14" steel rims to 15" alloys a year ago when I bought new tires at America's Tire. Now a year later, the finish on all the rims (MB Blitz) is disintegrating. It was a mirror machined finish. I live within a mile of the ocean. Now I'm trying to find some replacement rims that will last more than a year, but everything America's Tire sells has either the same/similar finish, or not enough offset to clear the front suspension. (To their credit, they are warrantying the the wheels, or so they say so far). Looking on the web, including Tire Rack, shows there are hardly any options.

Anybody have any recommendations or known alloy wheels that will fit with a powder coat or clear coat finish? I can't see spending more on powder coating new wheels than they originally cost! This has become such a pain, I'm considering some of the ugly 15" painted steel rims or even 16" rims if I could find something that fits and will hold up with salt in the air.

It looks like mid-90s Camry or Ford Explorer wheels will also work, but I haven't found any sources for those either. If anyone has 15" wheels for an '88 pickup (same style as the '87), please let me know what works

If they are willing to provide a new set for you get em presprayed with an extra coat of laquar before you fit them. Once hardened and all polished nicely get the tyres refit and you should get a better run with the rims.

After spending a week looking for other alloy wheels that don't have a machined mirror finish, I found out there are virtually no options. I spoke to (and visited) lots of stores, viewed lots of online catalogs and found the offset requirements for this size wheel on a Toyota aren't widely available. Mark from Tires Buy Mark in Canoga Park told me to just have the wheels refinished at Pico Wheels in North Hollywood for about $40 a wheel. (He also said the wheels had a bad clearcoat job on the bare metal, which is what was failing)

I ended up go> I upgraded my original 14" steel rims to 15" alloys a year ago when I
